يوم كنت صغيرة سمعت وايد عن ايسكريم نصيف( المانجة)  من امي وابوي 

وجيلهم اللي كانوا يتذكرون حلاوة هالايسكريم ويتحسفون

ان المحل صك من زمان

بس الخبر الزين انه من قبل شهر رجعوا افتحوا كافيه نصيف في سوق باب البحرين

 طبعا يقدمون ايسكريم المانجة المشهور ( وهو صج حلو ) بنفس خلطته السرية

من سنه 1920

كافية نصيف عندهم بعد انواع يديدة من الايسكريم بنكهات مختلفة

والريوق البحريني كل يوم الصبح ( جوفوا الصور)

المكان ينترس الصبح في الويكند فاذا ناويين تروحون استعدوا تنتظرون شوي

لين ما تفضى طاولة

Growing up I heard a lot about the legendary Naseef Mango ice cream
from my parents. It was usually in a talk about the old beautiful
things that didn't exist any more. 
Well, that was then ! Last month Naseef reopened its doors in 
Bab Al Bahrain, serving not only their signature Mango ice cream
(with the same recipe since 1920), but also a lot of new flavours.

I must say the Mango did not disappoint at all, it was as good
as I imagined when listening to my parents describing it.

The new flavours are nice too. I tried the cheesecake and loved it.

What's more is that Naseef is now serving traditional Bahraini
breakfast every day ( photos below).

Definitely worth a visit !

called Bahrain Cinema Guide . It lists the movies showing currently in theaters,

and once you click on the movie title you will see where it is playing and when.

I just love how new service based ideas are coming to Bahrain.

Technovation winners will win free incubation services for their
project at BDB Incubators as well as access to use the Entrepreneurs Zone
located in Batelco's Ideas Center in Hamala.

معرض نزل

أمس رحنا معرض نزل 88 في فريج سيادي في المحرق

هالمعرض لفنانات وفنانين بحرينين سووا ورشة عمل في نزل 88 ( وهو بيت قديم )

لمدة اسبوعين رسموا فيها اعمالهم اللي تنعرض الحين في نفس المكان

وبيتبرعون ب 70% من ريع بيع اللوحات لجمعية البحرين لمكافحة السرطان

الفكرة وايد عجبتني و المكان له خصوصية وجمال غير طبيعي

المعرض بيستمر لي نهاية الشهر

Yesterday we found another gem in Muharraq, Nuzul 88 !

It is an old house in the area by Seyadi House that is full of charm.

A group of Bahraini artists chose this location to hold a 2 week workshop

where they produced their works of art.

The pieces are now on display in the same location till the end of the month,

with 70% of the proceeds going to Bahrain Cancer Society.

A great initaive by all collaborating artists.

Certainly worth a visit.
