I'm super excited to present a new Bahraini fashion designer,
Amal Al Mulla is the talented young woman behind the
newly launched ready to wear label " Amal Al Mulla".
Amal is a graduate from the Royal University for Women with a
degree in fashion design.
Her label focuses on bridging the gap between luxury clothing and
contemporary fashion. The designs are meant to exude flawless, timeless
and structured pieces to showcase every modern side of a women with every
collection created.
The first collection for the brand is a Autumn/Winter ’12 collection that
revolves around the elements of the iconic Art deco era, fusing it’s
characteristics within each piece into a modern take. This years
autumn/winter collection makes a woman carry a strong exterior in the most
elegant manner, with sleek clean lines and streamlined forms,
experimenting on repetitive bold geometrics patterns, strong structures
and asymmetrical silhouettes.
I personally loved the AW collection, and have very
high hopes for this budding designer .
